After the festival premiere had to be postponed for a year due to the current pandemic, the Köster Prize, endowed with 30,000 euros, could not be awarded as planned.
At short notice, we created an audience award – realtime NOW. Among all projects originally submitted for the Köster Award 2021, people could vote online for the filmmakers and thus decide on the winners of the audience award. The most favorite videos will be shown on the big screen during the award ceremony in March 2021 at a cinema in Bremen. In addition, the first place winner can look forward to a cash prize!

Finally the time has come. Thank you very much for all who took part in the voting and thus voted for the three most popular music videos. We don’t want to keep the result from you any longer. We will present the winning videos in the genre of contemporary music at a festive award ceremony on December 4, 2020 at the Schauburg Bremen. Admission to the awards ceremony is free.

When and where will the awards ceremony take place?
On March 26, 2021 in the Schauburg in Bremen. The event starts at 6.30 pm.
Who can attend the award ceremony?
Anyone, as long as seats are available. To reserve seats, please send us an email to reservierung@realtime-festival.de.
Do I have to reserve a seat in advance?
No, you do not have to. However, we can only guarantee a seat if you make a reservation in advance and receive a confirmation from us.
What does the program look like?
In addition to the three winning music videos on the cinema screen, you can look forward to entertaining music performances and an interesting exchange between artists, organizers and the audience.
Which COVID-19 measures do you have to be prepared for?
Please understand that at our award ceremony the same precautions apply as for a normal cinema visit in Bremen. Please bring your mouth-nose cover and pay attention to keep your distance. We will keep you informed about further measures at this point.
